In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn:
-What the settings mean.
-How to use the settings quickly on location.
-Lenses and how to use them.
-Basic “rules” of photography that are applicable to any type of session.
-Q&A with Camillia.
-Ask Camillia questions and get hands on training.
-Work on location with a model!
In this workshop you will need:
A camera. Preferably not an iphone or a mobile device. A DSLR is preferred, however a point and shoot is acceptable.
A memory card with lots of space available and a full battery. Preferably a blank memory card, but please do not feel you need to purchase a new card. I want the students to take as many photos as possible and don’t want a full memory card to hinder them from learning.
A notebook or binder to take notes and a pen.
A snack and a water bottle.
Additional Workshop info:
Workshop starts at 1pm sharp. Please arrive 15 mins early to find the classroom and to settle in. Dress for the weather.
Disruptive or disrespectful students will be asked to sit out or leave.
We will not be covering editing in this workshop, so there is no need to bring a laptop or computer.
Parents will be asked to drop off and pick up. Please no watching as it is a distraction to other students and possibly your own child.
