Review: Clinique Black Honey Lipstick and Gloss

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably fallen down the rabbit hole of TikTok beauty trends at least once or twice. And let me tell you, one trend that I stumbled upon and couldn’t resist trying for myself is the Clinique Black Honey lipstick and gloss. Let me just say, I am completely obsessed!

Of course I bought both because I can’t help myself. First up, let’s talk about the lipstick. The Clinique Black Honey lipstick is an iconic shade that has been around for 5 decades, and for good reason. It’s a sheer, deep berry hue that looks stunning on all skin tones. When I swipe it on, it gives my lips a gorgeous hint of color while still allowing my natural lip color to shine through. I don’t wear lipstick normally, and I feel this lipstick is subtle and stands out- if that makes sense.

Now, onto the gloss. The Clinique Black Honey gloss takes the iconic shade to the next level with a high-shine finish. I wear this to work daily. I personally find myself reaching for the gloss more often than the lipstick because I love the extra shine. It’s perfect for layering over the lipstick for a bolder look or wearing on its own for a more subtle pop of color.
